Gallery: "Molbert" art gallery
Location: Russia, Saint-Petersburg
Finally something I was waiting for ages, not just a regular exhibition!
Of course, I mean watercolors! This time personal exhibition of two famous Russian watercolorists, Petr Semenov and Vladimir Kolbasov.
Mostly general watercolor fine art, still lifes and all.
Just the opposite - illustrations, graphics.
And here's a funny part: after reading exhibition's description, I was sure I'll like Semenov's art more, because personally I'm more into classic fine art, not some illustration stuff. But after visiting the gallery, I'd say I was amazed mostly by Kolbasov's artworks. Yep, it's just amazing what you can do with watercolors, all these deep, vivid and at the same time clean and simple colors... Love it!
